Prasat (Khnar Pou)

Located 700m south-southwest of Banteay Ampil temple and 450m south of the ancient East Road, the site features the traces of an ancient temple with a few sandstone and brick fragments and 50m to the east a large basin around 80m x 40m. Images 2021

Khnar Temple (Khvav)

Located 4km north of Wat Peung in Khvav Commune. The site features an outer wall and partially standing temple remains.

Vien Temple

Traces of an ancient temple with visible moat and sandstone and laterite remnants. Located inside the outer enclosure of Preah Khan of Kampong Svay. Reference

Phnom Dob Temple

Located north of the ancient East Road and east of Spean Ta Ong, the remains of Prasat Phnom Dob sits atop a small mountain. It features the base of what may be two or three brick shrines that are enclosed by a laterite wall that may have dated to the 10th-11th century. The site is … Read more

Wat Khnar Krao

Contemporary monastery and pagoda with a large basin on the east. Near the basin is a small neak ta shelter housing remnants of an ancient temple including sandstone plinths, pesani, and a sema stone fragment. Images: 07/2022

Prasat Reach Chuntal is located in the central area of Siem Reap city, in the commune (now Sangkat) of Kok Chak. Prasat Kok Chen (Phnom Kulen)

The site is located southwest of Anlong Thom village, atop Phnom Kulen, along the trail that leads to Rong Chen Temple. Only the base of a brick temple remains to be seen. Notable for the width of its walls, the site is also flanked by a natural rock monolith.

Chrei Temple (Phnom Kulen)

A contemporary monastery and pagoda. Located to 650m northwest of Kouk Mon Market and 400m to the east of the large baray that belongs to Soeng Temple.

Wat Sovan Mealea Ov Lok

Contemporary monastery and pagoda housing a collection of remnants from ancient temples sites. In the surrounding area there are several recorded archaeological sites inc. Neak Ta

A small neak ta shelter by the edge of a baray in Kouk Mon village. Remnants include a small sandstone pedestal, a fragment of a hand from what may have been a Buddha statue, and most interestingly, a fragment depicting what appears to be a stupa.

Wat Sokunthearam Kouk Mon

Wat Thnoat Pkar Bo Prek (Srei Santhor)

Located near the east bank of the Mekong River in lower Kampong Cham Province, just northwest of Wat Svay Sach. It’s a contemporary monastery and pagoda, recently rebuilt by appearances. It uses the Phnom Penh style with added porches and lavish use of gold paint.

Wat Purthivorn (Srei Santhor)

Also recorded as Wat Ampil, it is located near the east bank of the Mekong River in lower Kampong Cham Province, just southeast of Wat Svay Sach. Wat Svay Romeat (Kandal)

Contemporary monastery and pagoda located along the east side of the Mekong River in Kandal. It features a lot of old-world charm, panelled wooden window shutters, wooden pillars, wireframe art, and so on that’s attributable to the 50s-70s but I do not have an exact date for this pagoda.
