A contemporary monastery and pagoda, also recorded as Wat Purthivong Hathei, located west of the RN 6 in Baray District Kampong Thom. It features a collection of remains from ancient temples in the area.

Wat Toek Lech
Contemporary pagoda, located west of Beng Mealea and near the ancient sites of Daun Chan and Ta Phou.
Wat Toek Thla
Also recorded as Tuek Thla Pagoda, it is a contemporary monastery with a grand pagoda, grand stupa, and an earlier characterful building that dates to the late 1920s.
Wat Tomnup Thmei (Oddor Meanchey Province)
A contemporary monastery and older style wood columned pagoda under restoration at the time of visiting (01/23). A passable dirt road leads past here that connects to the major north-south arterial to the east, and to the west it connects to Tel Village (Preah Vihear).
Wat Toul Kbal Chuor Krom
Contemporary monastery and pagoda, featuring an older style pagoda and a new pagoda under construction. The older pagoda is of course quite interesting, still retaining its painted drapes (Preah Bot) around the balan, and then, there is that statue and the pedestal on which it rests, both warranting some further study.
Wat Toul Ta Ek
Contemporary monastery and pagoda located on the west side of Battambang city. It’s very ornately decorated with a low-height outer wall rendered with Buddhist Angkorian-era iconography, and the exterior pagoda walls are decorated with murals depicting local Buddhist narratives.
Wat Toul Ta Phlong
Contemporary monastery and pagoda located in Kampong Khleang, on the east side of the ancient canal.
Wat Toul Tom Poung
Also recorded as Wat Maniratanaram Tuol Tompoung, it’s a contemporary monastery with a grand and quite unique pagoda located on the southwestern side of central Phnom Penh.
Wat Trabaek
Contemporary monastery and pagoda located on the southern side of Kong Rei Mountain. Remnants of an ancient site can be seen including two different types of pedestal and a bollard/crown piece.
Wat Traeuy Kaoh
A beautiful contemporary monastery and pagoda located in central Kampot offering beautiful views across the water to the mountain range of Phnom Bokor. It also features several shrines and contemporary stupa in Angkorian style. At the time of visit, 08/22, the pagoda was under restoration.
Wat Tralaeng Kaeng
Also recorded as Wat Traleng Keng, the beautiful contemporary and very important monastery that houses remnants of the ancient era. Wat Trapeang Chhouk
A contemporary monastery with a grand pagoda located on the western side of Phnom Penh.
Wat Trapeang Khat
Located in Svay Leu district near the Siem Reap-Preah Vihear border, it’s an older wood-columned vihara with several meditation huts/monks quarters that have recently been refurbished.
Wat Trapeang Khnach Ropeak
A contemporary monastery and pagoda including a vast themed area featuring a large basin. Interestingly, the site houses a number of ancient remains including pedestals and what may or may not be an ancient linga stone. Nearby is the Teuk Chob Khnar Po Community Forest (Khmer: ព្រៃសហគមន៍ទឹកជប់ខ្នារពោធិ៍). Photos from the site visit in June 2021
Wat Trapeang Sala
A contemporary monastery and pagoda located on the southwestern side of Phnom Penh. It features a couple of stupa that appear to be many decades old.
Wat Trapeang Sangke
A contemporary monastery and pagoda (date: 2000) located in Romdoh Srae Commune of Choam Khsant district, Preah Vihear.
Wat Tudongk Chamkar Doung
Contemporary monastery and pagoda just south of central Phnom Penh. Under restoration at the time of visiting in 08/22. It features some interesting and beautiful wooden standing Buddha statues which, I wonder how old they may be.
Wat Tuol Andet
Contemporary monastery and pagoda located in Choam Khsant, Preah Vihear. According to signage, the pagoda we see today dates to 1955, whilst the site itself may have an even older history. The pagoda features beautiful murals internally and externally.
Wat Tuol Kreul
Contemporary monastery and pagoda. At the time of visiting (02/23) the pagoda was under restoration and prior to consecration with the base sema still yet to be placed.
Wat Tuol Sambo
A contemporary monastery and pagoda that was believed to be constructed upon the location of an ancient temple site. The pagoda we see today may be around 50-60 years old at a guess.
