- Area: Battambang Province > Sangkae District > Kampong Preah Commune
- | Type: Ancient Remains & Temples
Contemporary monastery and pagoda located 15 km east of Battambang city along the RN 5. The pagoda has a style of the mid-1900s and the wood-pillared sermon hall has a plaque noting the monastery’s foundation in 1915. If the pagoda itself dates back to that time then it is surprisingly well preserved. Regardless, the wood-columned hall (sala chan), with its classical-style roof, is a heritage treasure.
