Cambodia Buddhist Vipassana Center

Located at the western foothill of Phnom Oudong, the monastery occupies large grounds featuring a grand pagoda, chedi, and grand Buddha statue along with a library, monks’ quarters, and numerous halls, all set among the landscaped grounds. It’s a clean, vibrant yet peaceful place to just wander and admire an active Buddhist monastery along with contemporary Khmer Buddhist art and architecture.

You can enter the site at the northwestern foothill of Phnom Oudong and there is parking inside the front gate. As mentioned, the grounds are large, so take a hat and a water bottle if you’re strolling through midday and you can spend 30 minutes to an hour if you stroll down to the Big Buddha and the Chedi.

If you are interested, you can also enroll in Vipassana meditation retreats.
