Bakong My Village

Located 500m to the east of Prasat Bakong, Bakong My Village offers a cafe, restaurant, and activities. It’s set on large landscaped grounds with ponds and tree areas with comfortable seating, private bamboo huts, and even an area for archery. It’s a handy pitstop in between exploring all the temples in the Roluos area.

It’s a refreshing place to escape the heat, grab a bite to eat and even take a nap in a hammock in one of the bamboo huts. The cafe serves fresh espresso coffee and the usual milk-based drinks you’d expect at most modern cafes, while the restaurant has a Khmer-western menu. The food portions are generous, to say the least, and designed for sharing among family and friends.

Drinks range from $1.50 to $2.50 in the cafe while the restaurant food ranges from $8 to $15 which is expensive, but the serving sizes are generous, and and top of that you can chill in the gardens, and as I say, even snooze away away in a hammock.

As for activities, the archery was $5 per 30 minutes and the rifle a little more at $7.
