[Updated Oct 2024] Here is our big list of gyms and fitness centres in Siem Reap, ranging from the basic workout gyms at a bargain $1 per visit to $10 per visit for luxury A/C gyms with steam rooms etc. Recently, many new gyms have opened, vastly expanding the options available.
Meru Fitness Center
Address: Angkor Grace Street, Siem Reap
Opened in 2024, the Meru Gym features three levels offering new Technogym equipment, gym and boxing equipment, a cross-training area, spinning bikes, and a Juice Bar. They also offer programs, personal training, Kun Khmer classes, pilates, and more. Open Monday to Friday: 5:30 AM to 9 PM and Saturday & Sunday: 6 AM to 8 PM
Angkor Fitness
Address: Preah Sangreach Tep Vong St, Siem Reap
Recently renovated and expanded, it offers a lower floor in the style of a classic muscle gym and an upper air-conditioned level offering more equipment, spinning bikes, numerous classes, a sauna, and a cafe. On the last visit, a day pass was $5 and $50 per month with discounts for 3, 6 and 12-month plans. Open 6 AM–9 PM.
I Grand Gym
Address: Jayavarman Rd, Siem Reap (Near Makro)
One of the largest and newest gyms in Siem Reap. It connects to a new luxury residential development and has an impressive scale. Facilities here include a large range of machines, elliptical, bikes, treadmills, a sauna, a steam room, hot and cold jacuzzi. You also get access to the massive landscaped pool. On the last visit, a day pass was $8 with discounts for 3, 6 and 12-month plans. Open 6 AM–9 PM.
Gold Fitness
Address: Psar Dam Krolanh Road East, Siem Reap
Gold Fitness is one of the largest gyms in Siem Reap. Its reasonably modern facilities include free weights, a large range of machines, elliptical, bikes, treadmills, sleds, bags, a swimming pool, a sauna, a steam room, hot and cold jacuzzi. They also do classes for cycling, dancing, cardio, and more. It’s a huge place. Offers lockers, towels, and good showers. On the last visit, a day pass was $5 and $50 per month with discounts for 3, 6 and 12-month plans. Open 6 AM–9 PM.
Ground Zero Gym
Address: 163 Sombai Rd, Siem Reap
Offers martial arts and yoga classes, plus HIIT warrior workout, ice bath, and full cafe with vegetarian food and coffee. The gym specialises in traditional Khmer martial arts (Kuhn Khmer) and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ). Lovely outdoor garden seating area and a strong community of both expats and Khmer students. Walks-ins are $10, monthly unlimited pass for $75.
Courtyard by Marriot Siem Reap
Address: Road 6, Slor Kram, Siem Reap
Offering air-conditioned gym room with modern equipment inc. free weights and machines, treadmills and bikes. With gym access, you also get access to the sauna room, lockers, and showers at Quan Spa, plus pool access. They also have classes I believe. No hot or cold jacuzzi. On last enquiry a day pass was $5 and monthly was $109. Open 6 AM–9 PM.
Angkor Muscle Gym
Address: near river past Arts Centre Night Market, Siem Reap
Very popular gym with lots of machines and free weights. Some bikes and treadmills. Day pass is just one dollar, pay a little more for treadmill use and shower use. They also have protein powder and other supplements for sale. Open 6 AM–9 PM.
Mr Ly Gym
Address: Sala Kamreuk Rd, Siem Reap
Offering free weights, machines, cardio, and classes for kickboxing, Khun Khmer, and bokator. They also sell protein powder. On the last visit, the day pass for gym use was one dollar and extra for the treadmill and classes. Open 6 AM–9 PM.
GymTime
Address: near Wat Bo, Siem Reap
Small but with modern gym equipment, usually not too busy, has male and female showers. Entry was $1 on last visit inc. towel and shower use. They have free weights, treadmills, spinning bikes, and machines. Open: 6 AM–10 PM
Any Happy Gym
Address: off Apsara Road, Siem Reap
It’s not the newest gym but people love it. I seem to work harder there than anywhere else perhaps due to its raw simplicity. Featuring a cardio area and a weights area with treadmills, bikes, machines, and free weights. On the last visit, a day pass was 75c and a little extra to use a treadmill. You can also buy protein powder here. Has lockers, towels, and a shower if you need it. Open 6 AM–9 PM.
