Updated for 2024, in this list of Siem Reap’s most beautiful restaurants, I will focus on those with something more than delicious food and great service by featuring restaurants that also have amazing views, garden settings, and dining spaces.
Many are quite impressive, offering you the chance to turn a meal into an experience and a good reason to go exploring beyond Pub Street fare. While most are reasonably central, links to Google Maps, addresses and official websites are included.

Perhaps one of the most unique dining experiences in Siem Reap, or anywhere, that includes transfers, private boat ride across the West Baray, jungle walk, and a truly unique dining experience on set underneath the stars in the lush green village of Kok Tnout.
LUM ORNG Farm to Table
Located some 15-20 mins from the city center it is often heralded as one of Siem Reaps most romantic restaurants housed within a beautifully decorated traditional wooden Khmer building overlooking the farm and garden. Owner-chef Sothea Seng cooks what he describes as New Mekong Cuisine and I yet to hear anything other 5/5 ratings.
Sokkhak River Restaurant
Offering French and Khmer cuisine with indoor and outdoor seating set amongst lush tropical style gardens. Not only a locals favorite, it’s also a back to back Certificate of Excellence winner from TripAdvisor and is highly rated not only for the food but also the service, ambiance, and atmosphere.
Banlle Vegetarian
Banlle restaurant is a vegetarian fusion restaurant set in a beautiful tranquil garden surrounding a traditional Khmer wooden house. There is a reason people keep coming back here, delicious food, great value, good service, and simple ambiance.
Chanrey Tree
One of the few traditional Khmer wooden houses remaining in the Siem Reap city centre has been restored and surrounded by lush landscaping while fittingly offering countryside Khmer cuisine. Located by the river on Pokambor Avenue it’s a must-try for a genuine quality Khmer

Cuisine Wat Damnak
Offering indoor and outdoor seat in an open traditional Khmer wooden house surrounded by lush greenery. They are rightly rated as one of the top Khmer cuisine restaurants around. Be sure not to miss it. Open for dinner only and reservations are a must.

Palate Angkor Restaurant & Bar
The casual fine dining restaurant features an indoor ground floor restaurant and open rooftop bar perfect for sunsets by the river. They serve a western buffet breakfast, and a la carte lunch and dinner. The Palate Angkor restaurant serves modern Asian, Khmer and Western cuisine.
Sokkhak River Lounge
The modern three-story site surround by trees includes a café on the ground floor, wine bar on the second floor, and a rooftop cocktail bar with sunset views over Prom Rath Pagoda and Siem Reap river. Offering a modern Khmer Western fusion menu.
The Mansion
The Mansion fine dining restaurant serving Western/Khmer menu and Scribe bar offering cocktails, coffee, wine, imported beers and tapas style menu. The second floor has nice views over their beautiful garden court and the Siem Reap river.
Café Indochine Restaurant
Serving authentic Khmer cuisine in a wonderfully charming setting, Café Indochine Restaurant is a popular and time honored choice. Offering indoor seating in one a traditional Khmer building surrounded by wooden architecture, or, outdoor garden seating.
Slatoum Restaurant by Rohatt Cafe
Located at Kings Road, above the cafe, Slatoum offers simple but nice outdoor seating on it’s second floor balcony with river views. Open for breakfast through to dinner serving mid-priced Khmer/Western cuisine.

Mouhot’s Dream
Surrounded by a lake, Mouhot’s Dream blends Oriental and French flavours for a refined and unique dining experience at the Sofitel Angkor. They offer indoor and outdoor seating on the balcony overlooking the lake.
The Sugar Palm
The Sugar Palm offers superb value for money on delicious home-style Khmer comfort foods. Serving lunch and dinner. The interior is classical, airy, and a refreshing change from Pub Street options.
