Siem Reap Municipality Provincial Authority, in cooperation with the Union of Youth Federation of Cambodia, has been busy preparing a holiday program including traditional religious programs, cycling, charity events, floating markets, exhibitions, and cycling, hiking, camping on Kulen Mountain and more.
The river, full of a fresh allowance of water, looks absolutely amazing at the moment as the city prepares for the upcoming holiday.
Many events will center on the Siem Reap River in the city area including a floating water market along with the installation of colorful lanterns and decorations.
The Siem Reap Holiday Program will be held from 16 to 21 August 2020, which is the holiday period for civil servants and workers in lieu of the postponed traditional New Year holidays (in April) due to Covid-19.
Programs
Normal COVID-19 measures as instructed by the Ministry of Health are in place, such as: 1. Do not forget to wear a mask or scarf 2 Do not forget the hand gel or alcohol and the authorities have prepared hand soap in public as well. 3. Do not forget to keep a safe distance.
