Preah Vihear Province located in the country’s north and forms part of Cambodia’s international border with Thailand and Laos. Its capital is Preah Vihear. The region is famed for its ancient temples, notably the Preah Vihear temple complex, Koh Ker and Preah Khan of Kampong Svay.
Other notable sites in Preah Vihear Province include Neak Buos Temple, Kulen Promtep Wildlife Sanctuary, Tbeng Mountain, and Steung Ksach Resort.

Contemporary monastery with an older wooden vihara. To the northwest of the pagoda are the remnants of an ancient temple site with only a scattering of laterite blocks to be seen atop a mound and nearby what may (or may not) have been a laterite-lined basin.
The old wooden pagoda and salaa. I believe nowadays the monk resides a little further north in a new salaa. Stored here is an unusual Buddhist boundary marker.

Contemporary monastery and pagoda located in Choam Khsant, Preah Vihear. According to signage, the pagoda we see today dates to 1955, whilst the site itself may have an even older history. The pagoda features beautiful murals internally and externally.
