Kratie Province
Kratie Province, or Kracheh, is located in the northeast and its capital shares the same name. Its mostly a rural province with its major attraction being dolphin watching on the Mekong River.
Attractions in Kratie include Kampi Dolphin Site, Phnom Sambok, Kampi Picnic, Vihear Sasar Mouy Rouy, Phnom Sopor Kaley, and Koh Pdao.
Wat Russey Keo
Contemporary monastery and pagoda, located on the western bank of the Mekong River. Also recorded as Soporkiriram Pagoda (Khmer វត្តសុពណ៌គិរីរាម ជ្រោយអំពិល)
Wat Chambak
Contemporary monastery and pagoda, under restoration (02/23), located on the western bank of the Mekong River.
Wat Chroy Ampil
Contemporary monastery and pagoda located on the western bank of the Mekong River. Just north of this site is another Chedi (last picture below).
Wat Vihear Lao
Located in Sambor district of Kratie province, Wat Vihear Lao is one of the four pagodas in the wider area, arranged in cardinal directions. The others still standing are the famed 100 Columns Pagoda and Wat Preah Vihear Kuk.
Wat Botom Reachea Dei Dous
Contemporary monastery and pagoda located on the west bank of the Mekong River. It features a contemporary pagoda built atop a tiered brick terrace that may well have a history dating to the 20th c, or earlier. Also noting its east-northeast alignment.
Wat Prek Prasop
Contemporary monastery and pagoda located on the west bank of the Mekong River. It features two pagodas, a large contemporary pagoda and another that appears to be from the early 20th c.
Wat Prek Prang (Kratie)

Wat Seliaram
Contemporary monastery and pagoda located on the west bank of the Mekong River. It features some unique art in its pediment and sema, along with offering views over the Mekong.
Wat Rokar Kandal
Contemporary monastery and pagoda, the old pagoda is located by the river opposite.
Wat Toul Kbal Chuor Krom
Contemporary monastery and pagoda, featuring an older style pagoda and a new pagoda under construction. The older pagoda is of course quite interesting, still retaining its painted drapes (Preah Bot) around the balan, and then, there is that statue and the pedestal on which it rests, both warranting some further study.
Wat Sre Sbov
Contemporary monastery with an older style wooden pagoda and new pagoda under development (02/23).
Wat Samithiram
Contemporary monastery and pagoda located in Prek Krieng village of Sambor District, Kratie. The pagoda is an early wooden style.
Phnom Soporkaley
