Kandal Province surrounds the nation’s capital Phnom Penh and is home to a large number of those working in the country’s garment and textile industries. As the capital expands Kandal Province is a likely beneficiary.
Attractions in the province include Phnom Udong, Koh Dach, Sa Ang Mountain, Ang Kor Chey Pagoda, Kean Svay Krau Pagoda, Tum Pek Pagoda, Wat Phnom Thom Mond, Phnom Prasith, and Phnom Edtharoes.

Located at the southern foothill of Phnom Oudong, the monastery features a pagoda with a grand staircase leading to the road that circles the area. The site featured a small neak ta shelter containing a collection of ancient sandstone remnants.

Contemporary monastery and pagoda located along the east side of the Mekong River in Kandal. It features a lot of old-world charm, panelled wooden window shutters, wooden pillars, wireframe art, and so on that’s attributable to the 50s-70s but I do not have an exact date for this pagoda.
