Wat Sala Kou

A contemporary monastery and pagoda located on the north side of Oudong Mountain. At the steps to the pagoda, an ancient linga is seen along with a “mini-prasat” that was often used as corner finials on Angkorian-era temples. Wat Chedei Thmei

Contemporary monastery and pagoda located to the northeast of Oudong Mountain just south of the RN5. It features several remnants that appear to date to the late-post-Angkor period. At the time of visiting, Aug 2023, the pagoda was in the late stages of restoration.

Also recorded as Wat Traleng Keng, the beautiful contemporary and very important monastery that houses remnants of the ancient era.
