- | Type: Ancient Remains & Temples
Also recorded as Wat Pothi Lanka, is a contemporary monastery and pagoda located around 20 km east of Battambang city along the RN 5. The pagoda has recently been renewed and at the main entrance, the original gate has been preserved. Interestingly, to the left of the pagoda, is a large pen with two ostriches. Apparently, the monk purchased them for $150 each from a nearby province, and they seem well cared for with the lady chopping up masses of greens for their twice-daily meal.
