- Area: Battambang Province > Krong Battambang > Sangkat Toul Ta Aek
- | Type: Ancient Remains & Temples
Contemporary monastery and pagoda located in central Battambang on the east side of the Sangker River (or Sangkae if you like) a block north of the central market. It’s built in the traditional Battambang style of the mid-late 1900s. It features an ornate and eye-catching entrance gate, that gleams when hit by the setting sun. A sandstone sema pedestal can be seen beside the pagoda, perhaps a remnant from the vihara that preseeded what we see today.
