Wat Kong Moch

A smaller peaceful monastery featuring an ornate pagoda with beautifully decorated doors and pediments. The eastern entrance is fronted by two cows, or preah ko, while the western entrance is fronted by pairs of horses and elephants.  The prayer hall beside the pagoda is quite characterful, if you look up around the eaves you can find older paintings in the pediments, which are also found on the inner walls, while older sandstone sema stones, perhaps from the original pagoda can be seen.
