The Old Royal Cinema, located near the main traffic circle in Kampot, is one of the four original cinema houses that operated in Kampot. The only remaining semi-functional vintage movie hall, it is said that the cinema was one of King Sihanouk’s favorite venues in the Kampot province which remained active until the fall of the Khmer republic. An attraction worth visiting while in Kampot, it gives visitors a feel of old-fashioned cinema.
