South Gate of PKKS

The south gate (gopura) of the third enclosure of Preah Khan of Kampong Svay is similar to that of the north, east and west, featuring three towers offering a large central entrance flanked by lesser entries on either side. To its south, a grand causeway that’s lined with sandstone and carved with reliefs of Hamsa crosses the moat.

The three towers are joined by a gallery that featured columned windows and remnants of sandstone blocks can be seen blocking off some windows perhaps, something that’s also seen at the western gate.
