Prasat Phum Prasat

Contemporary monastery (Wat Toul Pich Rainsy – Khmer: វត្តទួលប្រាសាទពេជ្ររង្សី) with an older vihara, and remnants of an ancient temple that once occupied the site. Remnants, all sandstone, are gathered in a shelter including several large moonstones (doorsteps), two of the upper plates of multipart pedestals, and other sandstone fragments, all appearing to be pre-Angkorian. Around the old vihara, you can see quite a lot of exposed brick that may be also related to the original ancient temple. Note: there are several temples named “Phum Prasat” see here for more.
