Prasat O Toub

A ruinous brick temple that sits atop an elongated laterite base. Originally it was believed to have had three towers but only one remains partially standing today. Nearby are the scenic and spectacular rock carvings of Peung Moha Ey Say.

In front of the site, there is a large exposed section of natural bedrock that has had an irregular series of holes either natural or carved into it. Whether natural or for sacred deposits, or perhaps some other purpose is unknown to me.

Historical Notes

The site was documented in 1936/7 by Jaques Lagisquet and later by Phillipe Stern.

Prasat O Tob Maha Rosei small secondary temple which I have already mentioned in my March report. This temple is located approximately 800 m. to the South, South-East of Krus and approximately the same distance to the N., NE. of Damrei Krap. Near this temple there are rock bas-reliefs on a cell dug into the rock.
