Pheas Khang Kaeut Temple

Also known as Pheas Temple, it features the remains of three sandstone temples located on the present-day monastery site, Wat Pheas. The temples were built upon a rise provided by a common terrace aligned north-south with the three temples opening to the east. Of the three only two walls of the central tower are partially standing. This central tower appears that it would have had a forebody extending the entrance to the east.

The site was ornate and richly decorated, not only worthy of deeper study but hopefully more, as this site would be a superb candidate for clearance and restoration. The art, transitionary.

At the time of the last visit, 07/02/22, the sealed road marked as 286b leading from road 6 was in bad condition but passable. The red dirt road to Svay Chek was OK.
