Kok Ta Moan

Located in Puok District some 30 km northeast of Siem Reap, and set among the farming lands of the village, Ko Ta Moan features the remains of an ancient brick temple. The mound the site occupies is quite pronounced indicating there may actually be a basement structure still intact. Above ground, brick rubble abounds with a couple of sandstone fragments and a curious round laterite piece with a tenon relief. Noting the brick style, one could take a big guess and say the temple dates to around the 10th-11th century.
