Khnar Phtol Temple

A group of three ruinous temples open to the east with false doors on the other sides. The center tower is brick while the north tower is of laterite construction and the southern tower no longer exists. Both the existing towers open to the east and the brick tower has false doors on its other sides formed by the brickwork with unique carved edging highlighting the frame. The laterite tower appears to have a false door shaped into the laterite on its western side but not the other sides and it still has its sandstone doorframe on its eastern opening.

There is a laterite “library” building built in laterite fronting the towers and opening to the west, which features windows on its upper level formed by horizontal slits hacked into the laterite. There’s also a sandstone block laying on the ground, amongst lots of others, that appears to be a window also but to which of the laterite construction does it belong?

The site has a moat but to trace of an outer wall and there is also a large basin in the north which was being excavated at the time of writing,
