- Area: Siem Reap Province > Krong Siem Reab > Sangkat Toek Vil > Kôk Dong Village
- | Type: Ancient Remains & Temples
Located on the northwestern side of Siem Reap city, the site is known to locals as Prasat Kbal Romeas. The site features a large moat-surrounded mound that measures around 40m or so per side. There are traces of at least two small brick shrines towards the western end of this mound. Otherwise, there is not much remaining above ground to be seen. Noting the use of brick, the site predates at least the 11th century.
The site is accessed via private property, and we are very thankful to the people there for showing us the site.
Note, that there are many sites in Siem Reap and across Cambodia sharing the name Kbal Romeas
