Kambor Temple

Located atop the small mountain, Phnom Kambor, and reached by an easy flight of stairs are the remains of Prasat Kambor. The ancient site consisted of a group of three small square brick temples. Only the northernmost tower remains partially standing with only the base of the other two structures seen through the overgrowth (at the time of visiting in late 2021). A deposit stone, decorated door columns, and other remnants can also be seen. There are also beautiful views across the rice fields to be enjoyed, especially so during the growing season.

The site can be reached heading south of Road 6 via a sealed road that soon becomes a very rough cow road and slow going all the way. The entry to the mountain site also had a water crossing (during rice irrigation season). The road from Sreh Khang Lech to the west is a far better option (at the time of writing).
