Phnom Penh’s Central Market (Khmer: ផ្សារធំថ្មី, “Phsar Thom Thmey”, “New Grand Market”), is popular with tourists and locals alike offering fresh produce, “street food” stalls, clothes, bags, hardware, and even electronics. You can find moto parking on the south side with a guard (cost 2000 riel), and noodle stalls etc can be found on the west side, electronics on the east side and clothes, bric a brac, etc. everywhere else.

Even if you have no need to purchase anything it’s still a must-do stop in Phnom Penh just for the sake of its beautiful art-deco design dating back to the French-era. Opened in 1937 it was designed by architect Jean Desbois.
