Artisans Angkor (Siem Reap)

Located a few minutes walk from the Old Market and Pub Street area of central Siem Reap, Artisans Angkor is a Cambodian social enterprise focused on reviving traditional Khmer craftsmanship. Those crafts include stone and wood carving, silk production, weaving, lacquering, and silver plating.

You can visit the craft workshops, and there are even guides on hand to introduce the different workshops and explain the skill sets in use.

They open around 7.30 am and close around 6 pm. There is also a showroom where you can purchase the crafts that have been made right before your very eyes.

Artisans Angkor also run the Angkor Silk Farm, which is located in the Pouk District of Siem Reap.
