Wat Aranh Sakor

Contemporary monastery and pagoda located south central area of Siem Reap city and east of the Siem Reap River. Dating to the early-mid-19th century, it’s now over 100 years old I believe. It’s one of the older pagodas that used a lot of wood in its construction that’s been well preserved. This can be seen in the internal columns (exterior columns are concrete) and the porch ceiling and internal ceiling which also features beautiful murals. The pagoda was restored in 2017.
