Chedei Temple

Partially standing remains of a small square brick temple that was surrounded by a moat. A new pagoda is being constructed on the site (late 2021) replacing an earlier contemporary pagoda. Sandstone pieces of the site can be seen gathered at one side of the brick temple and near the funerary stupas on the southern side of the new pagoda a partly buried door or window frame section is seen and a curious round piece, both in pink sandstone. Inside the brick temple is a sema stone, what age is anyone’s guess, depicting Preah Mae Thoroni.
