Also known as Ta Muong, a sandstone ‘hospital chapel‘, mostly in ruin but fascinating for its unique patterns and motifs. The single sandstone temple is open to the east with a terrace that extends to what appears to be an entrance gopura yet there is no sign of wall remains. A basin exists in the northeast.
The standing parts of the temple are incredibly ornate featuring roundels with motifs, some similar to what’s seen at Preah Khan, in particular, the ‘water girl’. The floral pattern work on the temple base also seems quite unique. Surrounding the site is a plethora of sandstone pieces, many of them quite ornate, suggesting this would have been a very beautiful sight in its day.
Numerous inscriptions were recovered from the site inc, the ‘hospital’ stele #K.602 others registered under K.603, K.606, and K.905.
