Prasat Trav is a square brick temple, still standing in part, that was originally surrounded by an outer moat. The site features two beautiful lions standing guard (albeit headless) with steps leading to its sandstone doorway which carries a beautifully executed inscription with 24 lines of Khmer dated to 1109 AD and registered under K. 249.
It opens to the east and featured beautifully decorated octagonal door columns, one of which lies in front of the site. Two pedestals are seen, one featuring two slots, one larger than the other, leaving one to wonder what statues it originally held. Large decorated sandstone plinths are seen which suggest the temple had a forebody.
