Wat Sanlong

The site of a modern monastery, Wat Sanlong, and also an ancient site with a tall brick temple and smaller satellite temple. Featured a moat and basin in the east.

The tall brick temple features five levels and false doors on each side except the east which is open and has the remains of a mandapa or hall leading east. Several meters further to the east is another and much smaller satellite temple. The site housed a statue of Harihara which is believed to be in the National Museum.

The monastery features a wide array of modern statuary depicting Khmer Buddhist tales. The monastery is gated and sometimes closed.
