Pram Temple (Phnom Srok District)

A small temple site consisting of what once was a group of three small brick towers fronted by two laterite/sandstone libraries. Today the brick structures have completely collapsed and only some standing remnants of sandstone false doors and door frames remain standing.

The two library or satellite buildings are standing (just) with the one on the north having an opening to the east and west while the one on the south opens only to the east. They are interesting as they are made from sandstone and laterite, and they were never completed having received very little final carving on the exterior walls.

There are lots of scattered remnants and two shelters housing small pieces etc. The outer enclosure wall is still standing in parts. The site is usually flooded during the rice-growing season and you may need to wade through a little water to reach the site.

The site can be reached by dirt roads, west of the river off RN6, that were suitable for car or bike and were in reasonable condition for part of the way, during wet season the road was flooded near to the temple as is surrounding the temple.
